Job title: Capital Project Engineer
About the Role As a Capital Project Engineer at Solventum, you will lead the planning and execution of capital projects that enable safer, smarter healthcare solutions. You will collaborate with diverse teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with codes and standards.
What You'll Do
- Develop project estimates, plans and proposals, and coordinate project approvals
- Manage project timelines, scopes, budgets, construction activity, and personnel to deliver approved project commitments
- Specify facilities and equipment performance and design criteria
- Define and execute competitive bidding and project delivery strategies
- Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance to applicable codes, guidelines, and standards
- Advance and deploy technologies
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 7 years of experience in capital project management, process engineering, product engineering and/or manufacturing engineering in private, public, government or military environments OR High School Diploma/GED AND 15 years of equivalent experience
- Additional qualifications: automated manufacturing equipment and web-handling expertise
- Demonstrated project management, communication, facilitation, influencing and teaching/coaching skills
- Ability to energize teams, promote teamwork and maintain positive morale
- Project leadership experience in laboratories and/or manufacturing plants
- Advanced degree in engineering or technology management from an accredited institution
- Travel up to 25% (domestic/international); relocation assistance may be authorized
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

- Advanced degree in engineering or technology management
- Additional experience leading projects in laboratories or manufacturing environments
- Subject matter expertise in automated manufacturing equipment and web-handling processes
Compensation & Benefits
- The expected compensation range is $124,000 - $170,500, including base pay plus variable incentive pay where eligible
