About the Role The Capital Markets – Corporate Bonds Analyst supports Marex’s corporate bonds trading and sales teams by conducting research, gathering data, and providing day-to-day desk support. The role acts as a liaison between the trading desk and middle office to help ensure accurate trade processing, investigate breaks and P&L discrepancies, and contribute to ongoing professional development and regulatory readiness. What You'll Do
- Develop an understanding of the corporate bond market, trade flows, and trading systems; apply this knowledge to day-to-day desk support.
- Support research and data gathering on counterparties and firm accounts; provide timely and accurate information to trading and sales.
- Act as liaison between trading desk and middle office; assist in the resolution of trade breaks and P&L discrepancies.
- Provide additional capacity to the desk by executing core support tasks, enabling traders and sales staff to focus on market activity and client engagement.
- Progress toward regulatory licensing and professional development; grow into roles backing up traders and sales staff.
- Stay informed on regulatory developments, industry standards, and best practices; ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other regulatory bodies.
- Adhere to Marex’s risk framework and Code of Conduct; report breaches and escalate risk events as required.
- Contribute to risk management processes and uphold Marex’s values. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship (including F-1, J-1, M-1, CPT or OPT).
