About the Role We are seeking a Capital Management Technology Analyst to support capital management technology initiatives, including credit/capital calculation engines and market risk technology implementations. This role translates business rules and data into detailed technical requirements, maintains traceability, and ensures audit readiness through data lineage and governance artifacts. Hybrid work is supported from Mt Laurel, NJ or New York, NY. What You'll Do
- Experience with Credit / Capital Calculation Engines / QRM / Market risk technology implementation.
- Familiarity with Axiom for capital reporting.
- 3+ years of experience in capital management technology, treasury systems, or related financial services roles.
- Translate capital management business rules and data into detailed technology requirements, mappings, and controls, including requirement traceability matrices.
- Proficiency in creating data/process flows and maintaining governance artifacts.
- Solid foundational understanding of financial products.
- Strong experience with SQL and data analysis across large datasets.
- Author user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence.
- Develop and maintain data lineage, catalogs, and control documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Prepare test cases and plans; lead triage and QA activities to validate data and system integrity.
- Conduct data discovery and profiling for critical capital data sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality.
- Perform hands-on work with data platforms, integration processes, and testing methodologies.
- Create data and process flows using Visio, Confluence, and similar tools.
- Utilize SQL for analysis across large datasets and demonstrate understanding of big-data concepts.
- Maintain a strong foundational understanding of financial products and their impact on capital management. What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in capital management technology, treasury systems, or related financial services roles; mandatory knowledge of Securities and Capital Markets.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis across large datasets.
- Experience with data governance artifacts, data lineage, catalogs, and controls documentation.
- Ability to translate business rules into technology requirements and maintain traceability.
- Experience authoring user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Familiarity with data discovery, profiling, and data quality techniques.
- Experience with Visio for data/process flows.
- Knowledge of capital reporting tools (e.g., Axiom) is a plus. Nice to Have
- Additional hands-on experience with Credit / Capital Calculation Engines, QRM, or other market risk tech.
- Experience with data catalogs, lineage tools, or governance platforms.
- Broad understanding of big data concepts and data integration testing. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $45,000 to $110,000 per year.
