About the Role The Capex & Services Senior Buyer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services within the Capex & Services function for a new plant (greenfield project). The role leads end-to-end sourcing, commercial management, and contract execution to ensure price finalization with cost competitiveness, seamless procurement, and timely issuance of purchase orders in alignment with project timelines. It will drive strategic procurement, vendor development, and effective pricing frameworks to enable efficient plant setup and smooth operations. What You'll Do
- Lead sourcing and commercial finalization of all capital investments for plant setup: Civil construction, PEB, interiors, electrical, firefighting, utilities; Plant machinery, assembly line equipment, and special purpose machines; Material handling systems (forklifts, racks, trolleys, cranes, etc.); Quality lab and testing equipment; IT infrastructure, office equipment, and furniture.
- Finalize and manage Services & Contracts (Pre- and Post-Commissioning): Construction services and project-related manpower, Facility management, security, and housekeeping.

- Education: Engineering (Mechanical/Civil) + MBA (Preferred)
- Experience: 15–20+ years in Indirect Purchasing, with strong exposure to Capex sourcing and greenfield projects
- Strong expertise in tendering, contracts, commercial negotiations, and cost analysis
- Key Skills: Capex sourcing & project procurement; Greenfield project execution; Costing & benchmarking (should-costing); Contract management & negotiation; Stakeholder management; Strategic sourcing & supplier development
