Job title: Capability Building Coach
About the Role Roche Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Capability Building Coach to build and enhance commercialization capabilities in Taiwan, translating global standards into local action, and partnering with local leadership to improve performance and patient value delivery across commercial functions.
What You'll Do
- Lead commercialization capability learning programs aligned with Pharma International and Taiwan Pharma Ambition.
- Translate global standards into local actionable roadmaps ensuring clear progression from foundational skills to advanced ecosystem mastery for PJP partners.
- Act as a strategic partner with PJS cluster leads and PJP team leads to identify skill gaps and provide data-driven insights to improve performance.
- Provide field coaching and timely feedback on customer engagement to remove roadblocks and unlock patient value.
- Design and implement trainings; connect internal and external resources.
- Collaborate with Agile Coach to apply Working by Outcome and facilitate rituals like Impact Retrospectives to translate learnings into business strategy.
- Partner with Taiwan leadership and chapter leaders to focus on capability building across all commercialization functions.
- Serve as the primary SME and central point of contact for Taiwan Pharma capability needs.
- Connect across APAC, Pharma International, and the global network to share best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Education: University degree (scientific, economic, or business). An advanced degree in Life science and/or MBA is a plus.
- Working Experience: At least 8+ years in commercial functions in the pharmaceutical industry; strong business acumen; solid experience in Marketing, Sales, Medical or Digital; credibility as a coach; in-house training design, capability building, L&D, or Organizational Development in a matrixed environment is a plus.
- Competencies: Strong strategic thinking and program/system design; excellent communication and facilitation; innovative mindset; continuous improvement; fast-learner; strong digital fluency; ability to leverage AI tools, data analytics, and modern learning platforms; fluent in local language; proficient in English to collaborate across Roche.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in Life science and/or MBA is a plus.
- Experience in in-house training design, capability building, L&D, or Organizational Development within a complex, matrixed environment is a plus.
