Canvasser

About the Role The Canvasser is the initial touchpoint in Renewal by Andersen’s sales process, responsible for generating leads with prospective customers via door knocking and diagnosing window/door concerns to set up a lead for the Sales Team. This role offers independence in a supportive team environment with flexible hours and a chance to learn sales and earn an above-average income.

What You'll Do

• Generate leads with prospective customers via door knocking.
• Diagnose window and door concerns during visits with the goal of generating a lead for the Sales Team.
• Serve as the initial touchpoint in the Renewal by Andersen process.
• Work independently in a dynamic environment with flexible, seasonal hours; may include weekends.
• Stand/walk up to 6 hours per day and lift/carry up to 15 lbs; navigate stairs, sidewalks, hills as needed.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• 1 year sales experience is preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Background in customer service, restaurant servers, bartenders, phone sales, automotive sales, construction, appointment setters, canvassers, and retail, among other occupations.
• Willingness to participate in paid professional training by industry experts.
