About the Role The Campus Services Assistant is a full-time administrative support role within the Office of Campus Facilities and Security at Patrick Henry College. Based on-site in Purcellville, VA, this position helps manage facilities operations, security-related processes, and front-desk interactions with visitors, donors, alumni, and vendors to support a safe and well-organized campus. What You'll Do

  • Work 40 hours per week
  • Process all payables (POs, check requests) and reconcile monthly credit card statements in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures
  • Open, read, and manage emails for assigned accounts; handle incoming mail for the Office of Campus Facilities and Security
  • Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors
  • Maintain security database and update access as needed
  • Process student parking registrations and violations
  • Assist in supervision of Campus Safety Officers and help maintain campus security
  • Maintain College vehicle files and registrations
  • Process dining hall deposits and change requests
  • Assist the Events coordinator, as needed, with College events
  • Work the Front Desk: greet visitors, notify departments of arrivals, maintain security and phone system, answer inquiries, and Direct visitors by maintaining directories
  • Monitor cameras and logs to maintain security; answer calls and voicemail on assigned lines
  • Assist in writing and updating Institutional Effectiveness assessment data and related policies/procedures
  • Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
  • Minimum Qualifications: must subscribe to the College's Statement of Faith; impeccable work record; strong computer skills (Outlook, MS Word, Excel); database experience a plus
  • Dependable with the ability to work without direct supervision; excellent communication and customer service skills; attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects; team player
  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent; quick learner; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Nice to Have
