Microsoft is hiring a Campus Procurement Manager within its Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) organization, based on-site in Singapore. The Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) team delivers core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business, and this site-based role maintains and executes sourcing strategies for the complex, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects that support it.
Responsibilities include integrating business specifications into RFI/RFP processes, ensuring compliance with procurement policy, and managing supplier activity and account plans across multiple accounts and purchasing categories. A major focus is on-time delivery and quality assurance of Long Lead Equipment / Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (LLE/OFCI) equipment for campus data center projects, including tracking OEM contractual required-on-job-site dates, coordinating field service resources with the general contractor and commissioning team, managing change orders, and supporting claims negotiations. The role partners closely with Projects Control, Strategic Sourcing, Data Center Development, Commissioning, and Supplier Quality teams.
Requirements: a bachelor's degree in engineering, management, supply chain, or a related field, plus 6+ years of experience in project management and supply chain, with a strong commercial understanding of product and capital equipment procurement. Preferred: hyperscale data center or large building construction experience (owner or general contractor side), knowledge of the data center industry and project delivery methods, and the ability to drive sourcing strategy across multiple categories in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
This is a full-time, fully on-site individual contributor role requiring less than 25% travel. Candidates must be able to pass Microsoft's Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
