Job title: Campus Dining Supervisor
Campus Dining Supervisor oversees daily operations of a designated Campus Dining location and directly supervises union, student, and part-time staff to ensure safety, brand standards, and customer service excellence. This leadership role manages hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, and coordinates with campus partners to resolve labor issues and maintain inventory and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Lead and motivate staff; supervise dining center operations; ensure safety and service standards and compliance with department policies and union rules.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and training; maintain daily service records and input data into the system.
- Monitor inventory and service needs; forecast, order, and track product usage; analyze unit data such as patron usage, labor, and food cost.
- Collaborate with HR/Labor Relations on employee issues, leaves of absence, accommodations; coordinate with campus partners to resolve labor issues.
- Support other Campus Dining locations and Catering Services as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in hospitality, restaurant or business management, and/or 5+ years of supervisory and/or food service experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; strong analytical, technical, computer, and written/spoken communication abilities.
- Ability to make autonomous, data-driven decisions; flexibility to cover rotating work shifts across Campus Dining.
- Experience supervising unionized staff and handling payroll, scheduling, and disciplinary processes; working with HR/Labor Relations.
Nice to Have
- Experience with union contracts and payroll systems; inventory management or forecasting.
- Prior campus dining or similar fast-paced food service environment experience.
Compensation & Benefits
