Jump Trading Group is seeking an ASIC Engineer Intern to join their ASIC team in Bristol. The role focuses on building next-generation ultra-low-latency systems for trading, involving networking, high-performance computing, and real-time acceleration. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers across architecture, design, testing, and bring-up on board-level systems. What You'll Do

Work on ASIC hardware/software integration for ultra-low-latency trading systems

Collaborate with a team of engineers with experience in ASICs, FPGAs, semiconductors, networking cards, and more

Participate across architecture, specification, design, test, and bring-up of final product on a board in production

Tackle complex problems in networking, high-performance computing, and real-time acceleration; exposure to machine learning and other algorithms on a global scale What We're Looking For

Undergraduate or Graduate concentration in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas

Experience with ASIC, FPGA or other hardware/systems design and development

Experience with RTL (SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL)

Previous internship experience in hardware or low-level software engineering

Experience with C, C++, or Python

Passion for solving complex problems and ability to draw upon knowledge across technical areas
