About the Role Girls Inc. NH is seeking energetic camp counselors for an 8-week summer camp in Nashua and Manchester. You will work with girls ages 5-13, delivering engaging, theme-based activities that support our mission of inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold. Counselors are responsible for the safety and supervision of their assigned group at all times.
What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, and implement daily activities for groups of up to 15 girls aged 5-13.
- Deliver theme-based, educational activities; lead songs, crafts, games, nature, and sports with an emphasis on fair play.
- Ensure the safety and supervision of campers at all times and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
- Participate in trainings and planning days before camp starts; collaborate with the camp team to create engaging experiences.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prior experience with school-age children in child care, day camp, or recreational leadership.
- Proven experience in teaching/leading camp activities (songs, crafts, games, nature, sports, and fair play).
- Ability to supervise groups of up to 15 campers.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Availability for 8 weeks, 35-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday; 7-8 hour shifts.
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour.
- Expected hours: 35–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
