Job title: CAD Drafter
About the Role E-ONE, part of REV Group, is seeking a CAD Drafter to produce accurate production prints, dash layouts, and approval drawings that reflect customer/dealer requirements for fire apparatus. The role supports Design Engineers by providing drawing changes and technical support to line operations, sales, and warranty in specialty areas.
What You'll Do
- Produce accurate production prints, dash layouts, and approval drawings reflecting customer/dealer requirements for fire apparatus.
- Support Design Engineers by making drawing changes and providing technical support to line operations, sales, and warranty in specialty areas.
- Operate CAD software to prepare drawings and schematics; assist in building parts and testing as required to validate and implement designs.
- Collect and consolidate product or material information from several sources.
- Create or adjust scale drawings with accurate-to-scale details, including three-dimensional representations when needed.
- Draw sectional views to clarify component positioning; draft sub-assemblies with irregular shapes and precise positional relationships.
- May calculate quantities of materials using established formulae or manuals.
- Assess the effects of changes on form, fit, and function.
- May work with sales/customers on order reviews and/or change orders and assist production personnel.
- Prioritize duties to meet production deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Strong drafting skills in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and database systems; comfortable working with computers.
- Must be a current college student.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $20-$22 per hour (New York location), base pay may vary based on candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
