About the Role We’re seeking an experienced C++ Linux Middleware Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance middleware solutions for Harman Automotive products. The role focuses on delivering reliable in-vehicle software and ensuring seamless integration with system components.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using C++ on Linux platforms, with emphasis on performance and reliability.
- Integrate middleware components with other system components to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance.
- Analyze and optimize middleware for low latency and high throughput.
- Troubleshoot complex middleware issues, debug using tools like gdb.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17), Linux development environment.
- Experience with middleware technologies (D-Bus, IPC, message queues).
- 3-6 years of middleware development and system integration experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to debug complex issues.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Networking protocols knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT).
- Version control experience (Git, SVN).
- Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
- DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
