Buyer II
Job Overview Plan and procure assigned materials to support production continuity, inventory objectives, and service levels. The Buyer II executes purchasing activities, manages routine supplier follow-up, maintains open purchase orders, supports materials planning activities, and escalates supply risks as appropriate.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Manage assigned suppliers and materials of moderate complexity, with guidance from management or Sr. Buyers for higher-risk, constrained, or business-critical supply issues.
- Execute MRP messages, purchase order placement, supplier confirmations, delivery follow-up, and open order maintenance to support material availability.
