About the Role The Buyer manages end-to-end procurement of goods and services to support the ICRC Manila delegation’s operational needs. They ensure full compliance with ICRC procedures, timely purchases, and delivering best value. What You'll Do
- Ensure internal procurement requests are fulfilled in a timely and compliant manner according to ICRC procedures.
- Conduct research on the availability of goods and services.
- Draft Requests for Tenders/Quotations, selection tables and contracts and submit them for hierarchical validation.
- Follow up on purchases and deliveries and verify conformance with specifications and contract details.
- Receive goods and verify quality and quantities ordered.
- Ensure payments to suppliers are processed and paid on time.
- Ensure reporting and compliance requirements are performed correctly and on time. What We're Looking For
- University degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration, or equivalent.
- Very good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); knowledge of ERP software is an advantage.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Purchasing and/or Logistics; prior humanitarian work experience is an advantage; background in construction or contracting is an asset.
- Driving skills are an advantage. Nice to Have
