About the Role Join the opening team for History, Live Nation's newest Canadian venue in Toronto. The venue can hold up to 2,500 and aims to host 200+ shows annually; you'll help establish History as a Toronto staple.
What You'll Do
- Perform opening and closing busser duties to support service flow.
- Ensure servers and the kitchen operate to high standards for flawless execution.
- Run food accurately to tables in a seamless, gracious manner.
- Stay informed of current menu items, including allergen and nutritional information.
- Keep the dining floor neat, clean and free of food, trash and obstacles throughout shift.
- Maintain sanitation of the space, including storage areas and garbage spaces.
- Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe environment.
- Ensure kitchen utensils are organized and stocked for efficient use.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly with a sense of urgency.
- Foster a connected atmosphere among coworkers through seamless communication and willingness to help others win.
- Maintain thorough communication with F7B Management team on par levels and various other food & beverage needs.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience as a busser or similar role in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to carry 2 or more plates around the venue and comfortably carrying them up stairs.
- Takes initiative and is able to anticipate the needs of servers and kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols & kitchen equipment is an asset.
