Role: Business Support Officer
Role Overview
- We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to provide day-to-day administrative, operational, and coordination support across the firm. The successful candidate will work closely with the Business & Operations Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, administration, and client-engagement logistics while supporting consultants and leadership in delivering high-quality client work.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative & Office Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business & Operations Manager and wider team; manage correspondence, scheduling, calendars, filing systems, business/client/HR documentation, office supplies, procurement, vendor relationships, and logistics for meetings, workshops, and firm events.
- Operations & Reporting Support: Support the implementation and maintenance of operational processes and SOPs; track project resourcing, timelines, and engagement documentation; maintain accurate operational records and data; monitor KPIs; and assist with periodic reports, dashboards, and operational updates.
- Finance & Expense Coordination: Support basic bookkeeping activities, including expense tracking, invoice processing, vendor payment coordination, and preparation of expense reports and supporting documentation; track office and project-related expenditure against budgets and support the Finance function as required.
- People & HR Support: Support recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling and candidate record management; assist with onboarding, documentation, and induction logistics; maintain accurate and confidential employee records; and support staff engagement activities and internal communications.
- Client & Engagement Support: Coordinate client engagement logistics, including scheduling and preparation of materials; assist consultants with formatting, proofreading, and preparation of client-facing documents and presentations; and maintain client records and engagement trackers.
- Systems & Technology: Support the use and maintenance of the firm’s project management, CRM, scheduling, and reporting platforms; ensure data is accurate, complete, and up to date; and assist in generating basic operational reports and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in an administrative, operations, or business support role.
- Experience in a professional services, consulting, or corporate environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with project management, CRM, or scheduling tools such as Trello, Asana, Notion, or HubSpot is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion, reliability, and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Salary
N200,000 per month.
