We are hiring in San Antonio, TX across multiple levels, including:
- Consultant II
- Senior Consultant
- Managing Consultant / Manager
- Associate Director
Our Guidehouse Team will:
- Document current state processes and controls, conduct site visits and walkthroughs, proactively identify financial and fraud risks, and partner with senior leadership on control remediation and process improvements.
- Lead business process documentation, flowcharts, SOPs, and review methodologies to safeguard Federal funds.
- Conduct control reviews over cash disbursements to support clients in standardized business processes.
- Strengthen documentation, controls, and audit trails over funds and processes.
- Advise senior Federal stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes in financial management, audit readiness, and risk reporting.
What You Will Need
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- TWO (2) – TEN (10) or more years of experience supporting federal audit remediation efforts, business process mapping, internal controls testing, risk assessments, and accelerated audit strategies, with experience in accounting, audit, budget, finance, internal controls, and business process improvement.
- Minimum 2 days onsite
- Willingness to travel to site visits
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Master's degree
- Federal Financial Management or Federal Accounting experience supporting the Department(s) of the Air Force, Army, and/or Navy
- Currently possess one or more of the following certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Program Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
