Business Manager – Semiconductor Production Test
Emerson/NI is seeking candidates with semiconductor production test knowledge and strong ATE experience to lead and accelerate our business growth in this semiconductor production test market. The semiconductor and electronics ecosystem is rapidly evolving along with the advancement in AI driven IC supply chain and mobile wireless markets. Emerson’s Test & Measurement business group (NI) delivers smarter test solutions that scale from the validation lab to the production floor and meet the business needs of IC manufacturers today and for the future.
A successful Business Manager is a high impact business leader in the region; a key driver of new business growth and execution of Semiconductor & Electronics Business Unit (SEBU) strategies; an advocate of our top customers’ requirements and schedules.
In this Role, Your
Responsibilities
Will Be:
- With a strong Mixed-Signal domain expertise within the commercial space, you will collaborate closely within the business unit (SEBU) & account managers.
- Refine our business strategy, identify target accounts, and execute on aligned account objectives to validate NI’s offering and secure customer commitment.
- Develop and maintain business plan to expand our SOM across the region by prioritizing key objectives and activities for yourself, account managers, and members of our business unit.
- Prioritize and guide NI’s technical resource investment to target key customer application opportunities by providing business justification.
- Provide the voice of the customer back into SEBU to influence strategy and roadmap.

- Collaborate with technical marketers, product managers, and R&D team members to create technical content.
- Work closely with NI test integration partners to identify new markets and jointly develop new business.
- Find & develop relationships with subject matter experts and leadership within the target customer accounts, and position innovative solutions to customer needs.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor production test industry.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor production test ATE market.
- Experience and knowledge of semiconductor test’s ecosystem (ATE competition, OSATs, Test houses, test cell providers, etc)
- Preferred understanding and experience in the Optoelectronics market and/or wafer parametric and semiconductor reliability market.
- Sales, business development, product management, technical marketing experience appreciated.
- Proven ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
- Demonstrated experience in creating growth strategies and driving adoption of technical products and solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills required.
- Travel: This role is expected to travel as customers, partners, OSATS are located around a given region. Up to 40% travel expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s STEM degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
