The Business Manager – Inflammation in Hong Kong will drive the financial performance of the inflammation portfolio, collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize patient benefits, and develop local brand plans aligned with global and regional guidance while upholding Amgen Values. What You'll Do
- Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve commercial goals through high-quality customer engagement; track qualitative and quantitative field force metrics to improve team effectiveness.
- Build team capabilities through coaching and role-play; develop sales activity plans including territory planning, coverage, and call frequency; gather and analyze field insights; lead competitive workshops; build relationships with key external stakeholders to understand unmet medical needs.
- Identify new business opportunities, build business cases, and secure resources to capture their potential.
- Develop the LRS, annual budget, and quarterly forecasts for inflammation products in partnership with the BU Lead, Finance Manager, and Supply Chain; recommend the national budget and sales targets; update demand forecasts monthly and partner with Supply Chain to ensure a stable product supply.
- Provide local market insights to JCEL/GCEL through monthly check-ins to inform regional brand direction and keep local tactics aligned; integrate market research and field insights to develop the Country Brand Plan and Local Product Strategy; design and execute promotional campaigns; develop promotional materials and train the sales team; set call objectives and targeting requirements for sales leaders to shape promotional tactics. - Experience leading sales teams and collaborating cross-functionally; ability to translate market insights into actionable plans while upholding integrity and Amgen Values.
- Strong planning, budgeting, forecasting, and demand planning skills; ability to develop brand plans and local product strategies in alignment with global/regional guidance.
- Ability to gather field insights, analyze data, and contextualize into Country Brand Plan and Local Product Strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of building relationships with external partners and internal teams.
