Job title: Business Management Technology Instructor - Part-time (Pool)
About the Role Part-time instructors teach in the Business Management Technology department as part of a temporary pool. The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction in alignment with course objectives and institutional standards, across multiple instructional modalities, and supporting student success. This is a part-time, temporary pool position.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality instruction that aligns with course objectives and institutional standards.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to support student learning.
- Utilize diverse instructional strategies, including technology-enhanced learning, to accommodate various learning styles.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to promote academic growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments in accordance with college policies.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment and offer academic advisement as needed.
- Be available for student inquiries and provide office hours or virtual support.
- Model professional behavior and uphold academic integrity.
What We're Looking For
- Must reside in the state of Ohio.
- Master’s degree in business management or a related discipline, OR a master’s degree in another field with the equivalent of 18 semester hours of graduate-level coursework in business management from a regionally accredited institution.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and staff.
- Willingness to teach using a variety of instructional modes, including email and online learning management systems.
- Dedication to meeting students’ learning needs and empowering them to succeed in their academic endeavors.
- Personal and educational philosophy that aligns with the mission, values, goals, and objectives of Central Ohio Technical College.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Preferred: Doctorate degree in a relevant subject area; prior teaching experience including curriculum development and assessment experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Range: Pay based upon level of education. Rates are available at the college's website.
