Business Intelligence Engineer

About the Role As a Business Intelligence Engineer on Amazon's Last Mile Quality team, you will define and drive the data-driven strategy for global address management programs that underpin customer experience and delivery performance. You will partner with Product, Technology, and Operations leaders to raise the bar on data quality, experimentation, and operational excellence at Amazon speed. What You'll Do

• Own the vision for quality improvement through global address management programs.
• Shape strategy for customer-facing products and partner with product and tech to build innovative experiences.
• Drive defect reduction and continuous improvement across multiple business units.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, disseminate project information, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze and translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable roadmaps and metrics.
• Influence product roadmaps and enable scalable operations through data-informed decisions.
• Act as a role model for Amazon Leadership Principles and collaborate across matrix teams.
• Communicate effectively with executives and cross-functional partners. What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of data analysis with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL.
• Experience with data visualization (Tableau, QuickSight) and BI tooling.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, or R).
• Experience building data artifacts (ETL, data models, queries) and applying basic statistics (e.g., regression).
• Track record generating business insights and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and balance competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Nice to Have
• Knowledge of improving code quality and optimizing BI processes (speed, cost, reliability).
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
