About the Role
American Business Solutions is seeking to deliver robust, secure business intelligence and database management capabilities. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights, designing custom data systems, and enabling faster, informed decision-making across industries. The emphasis is on robustness, efficiency, and security in data analytics and database design.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement custom BI and database solutions that put data under control and enable informed decision-making.
- Transform raw data into usable insights through intuitive analytics and interfaces.
- Build and/or partially design databases and related systems to support business intelligence and data analytics.
- Ensure robustness, efficiency, and security across data systems.
- Collaborate with clients across industries to meet diverse business requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in business intelligence and database management, with ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Comfortable designing robust, secure data systems for data analytics.
- Familiarity with ETL/BI tooling and the technologies listed: SSIS, SSRS, DataStage, Teradata, Sybase, Informatica, Cognos, Hadoop, SharePoint, SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, DB2, Informix, Ingres, Amazon SimpleDB, Power Builder.
- Experience collecting, storing, and retrieving data and turning it into actionable insights.
- Experience working across multiple industries.
