About the Role The Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) functions as the expert for clinical informatics, EPIC/EHR reports, and data visualization tools. The BIA applies expert knowledge of EHR applications to work with reporting and data analytics customers to understand, design, and document complex reporting needs, and coordinates issues that arise during assignments and projects. The role supports data analysis and decision making across UCSF Health, Benioff Children’s Hospitals, and affiliates to improve patient care, operations, quality, and performance.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the expert for clinical informatics, EPIC/EHR reports, and data visualization tools.
- Collaborate with reporting and analytics customers to understand, design, and document complex reporting needs; coordinate issues across projects.
- Analyze problems—often without precedent—applying independent judgment and technical expertise.
- Support delivery of patient care, operational performance, quality, and improvement efforts through EHR reporting, data analysis, and visualization for UCSF Health and affiliates.
What We're Looking For
