Business Insights and Reporting Analyst

About the Role We are on an evolutionary journey at Nestoil Group and are hiring an experienced Business Insights and Reporting Analyst to partner with SBUs, Departments, and Executive Management. You will help determine information requirements and develop analytical data pathways, synthesis, and visuals to support strategic decision making. Based in Lagos, you will help create scalable BI capabilities to support current and future growth. What You'll Do

• Working with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define metrics, guidelines, and data usage strategies.
• Aggregating data, cleaning and structuring it; delivering and maintaining high-quality BI reports and dashboards.
• Establishing links between existing and new data sources and identifying value-adding relationships.
• Maintaining a scalable BI environment to support growth; providing monthly security training to all users.
• Assisting in system implementation and process automation; improving data collection and reporting.
• Conducting research and making recommendations on data infrastructure, database technologies, analysis and synthesis tools; implementing tools and libraries for better data interaction.
• Analyzing data, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
• Standardizing how and where corporate data is created, stored, transported, and shared.
• Creating and maintaining BI documentation, including data dictionaries, design docs, flowcharts, and user manuals.
• Assisting in monitoring and optimizing ERP system performance; involvement with SAP ByD ERP and SuccessFactors implementation projects.
• Assisting in stakeholder management and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent; ITIL v3 Foundation Certification.
• 2-5 years of experience with databases and data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP SAC, Tableau, or similar.
• Prior experience with Power BI and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage).
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Power BI, DAX, Power Automate, Excel, Macros, SharePoint).
• Intermediate SQL knowledge (Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers).
• Experience in data management, warehousing, relational databases; experience designing dashboards and reports is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python or R. Nice to Have
• Experience in data management, warehousing, relational databases and designing intuitive dashboards and reports is a huge advantage.
• Any additional ERP experience (e.g., SAP ByD, SuccessFactors) is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
