A growing boutique litigation firm in Newport Beach is seeking a Business/Employment Litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm represents businesses, employers, property owners, developers, and high-net-worth individuals in complex civil disputes and offers attorneys the opportunity to take ownership of cases while working directly with clients and experienced litigators.
The firm specializes in a range of practice areas including:
- Business and commercial litigation
- Employment litigation and class actions
- Breach of contract disputes
Attorney Responsibilities
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Manage cases from inception through trial
- Take and defend depositions
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
- Assist with case strategy, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
Ideal Backgrounds
Employment Class Action Attorney
- 3+ years of employment class action experience
- Ability to manage matters from inception through settlement, including court approval processes
Business/Commercial Litigation Attorney
- 2+ years of business, commercial, or employment litigation experience
- Experience handling complex discovery and high-exposure matters

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $125,000-$200,000 DOE
- Discretionary bonuses throughout the year and at end of year

Requirements
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong law and motion experience
- Deposition experience preferred
