About the Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting. You will leverage HubSpot’s existing leads and generate new interest through calls, emails, and social media messaging. By connecting with prospects you’ll understand their business challenges to determine whether HubSpot can help as a solution. When a qualified prospect is identified, you’ll succinctly communicate HubSpot's value and secure interest in a deeper conversation with an Account Executive. You’ll work with 2-3 Account Executives and collaborate with fellow BDRs to develop strategies for uncovering new opportunities. What You'll Do

Conduct high-volume prospecting for qualified leads (new users and potential customers)

Understand customers’ needs and challenges using sales methodologies like BANT

Schedule online product demonstrations for qualified leads to meet monthly targets

Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and implement prospect strategies and plans

Carry out market research to broaden HubSpot's customer base What We're Looking For

Fluency in spoken and written French and English

Desire and commitment to a career in tech sales

Sales/prospecting experience

The cash compensation includes base salary, on-target commission for eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan. Some roles may participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Individual compensation is determined by objective, role-related criteria such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Benefits are an important part of total compensation.
