Job title: Business Development Representative
About the Role As a Business Development Representative in Centric Software's SMB division, you will generate and qualify new business opportunities in the French market, helping build a high-quality sales pipeline and support growth of Centric’s PLM solutions within apparel and fast-moving consumer goods.
What You'll Do
- Generate new business opportunities within the assigned French territory through outbound prospecting, targeted outreach, and lead follow-up.
- Identify and qualify prospective customers aligned with Centric’s value proposition and target market.
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand business needs, challenges, decision-making processes, and potential fit.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and early-stage opportunities.
- Partner closely with Regional Sales Executives and internal stakeholders to transition qualified opportunities for further development.
- Research target accounts, industries, and contacts to support effective outreach and territory planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospecting activity, lead status, and opportunity progression in CRM systems.
- Develop strong relationships with prospective customers and act as an early point of contact for Centric in the French market.
- Support the preparation of outreach campaigns, account lists, and market development initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to follow up on inbound leads, events, campaigns, and other demand generation activities.
- Represent Centric professionally in initial prospect interactions, industry events, trade shows, and conferences when required.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned activity, pipeline generation, and qualification targets.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or inside sales within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Experience prospecting into new accounts and generating qualified sales opportunities.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects professionally and confidently.
- Ability to understand customer challenges and qualify business needs effectively.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales engagement tools to manage outreach and pipeline activity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-evolving technology environment.
- Self-driven, proactive, and results oriented.
- Familiarity with apparel, retail, consumer goods, PLM, or enterprise software is an advantage.
