Job title: Business Development Manager
About the Role The Business Development Manager will sell complex consulting and advisory services to new and existing clients, focusing on C-level engagements and enterprise solutions to enable financial transformation, digital solutions, and superior customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new clients to expand Huron's presence in target industry spaces and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Achieve annual sales goals and market penetration targets.
- Educate Huron Managing Directors and sellers on Enterprise Solutions and Markets.
- Partner with internal Managing Directors to introduce Huron’s solutions to clients.
- Co-develop client strategies with Sales and Marketing leadership and other practices.
- Define growth opportunities through industry, client, and competitor analysis.
- Assure high levels of client service and satisfaction.
- Leverage deep professional services experience to build and sustain long-term client relationships that drive revenue.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an individual contributor sales role for a professional services organization.
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenues (1st year: $10M; 2nd year: $20M).
- Extensive experience developing and executing the sales process to close deals and identifying client issues.
- Ability to manage projects, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate in a team-based office while working independently.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred; knowledge of Oracle/Workday/Salesforce ecosystems is a plus.
- Undergraduate degree (BA/BS); MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise solutions and leading solution providers and the ability to translate market needs into client solutions.

- Experience selling through Oracle, Workday, and Salesforce ecosystems or directly to end users.
