About the Role The Business Development Manager Growth (DACH) will open new markets in the DACH region, identify target customers and decision-makers, and build early growth opportunities for Netcetera’s product and custom software portfolio until qualified handover to Sales. You will help define ICPs, personas, and value propositions in collaboration with Marketing & Strategy, identify pilot customers, PoCs, and validation levers for new use cases, and contribute to early GTM concepts. What You'll Do
- Open new markets in the DACH region, identify target customers & decision-makers, and build early growth opportunities for our product and custom software portfolio until qualified handover to Sales
- Define target customers, Ideal Client Profiles, personas and value propositions with Marketing & Strategy; identify pilot customers, PoC approaches and validation levers for new use cases
- Lead discovery conversations, identify relevant pain points, and position our product and custom software solutions clearly, in a structured and hands-on manner
- Validate MVPs, product features, prototypes and use cases in terms of business fit, market potential and decision logic; develop first GTM sketches
- Actively generate leads (Outbound, Social Selling, Networking, Events) and build a robust network in the FS and consulting ecosystem
- Strengthen market presence through targeted outreach and thought leadership; execute campaigns (messaging, tracking, follow-up) consistently
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing and Venture/Strategy to feed market feedback into roadmaps, GTM optimizations and use-case enhancements What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in Business Development, Venture Building or solution-oriented sales in the FS/Fintech space, with understanding of product and custom software business
- Strong hunter mindset: identify opportunities early, open new markets and systematically build early pipeline sources
- Proficiency in MVP/feature validation, discovery, market and use-case analysis, and early GTM concept development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales and Venture/Strategy
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken); completed studies in business administration, Wirtschaftsinformatik or a related field Nice to Have
- Experience building new product markets or in innovation/digitalization programs in the FS space
- Experience collaborating with consulting firms, venture-building units or innovation functions
- Network in banking, insurance or relevant FS-Tech ecosystems in DE/AT/LIE/LUX Compensation & Benefits
