About the Role
Gamebreaking Studios is looking for its first hire in Business Development to help us scale from a founder-led pipeline to a robust, scalable BD function. As a Business Development Manager, you will lead efforts to build and strengthen relationships that culminate in signed deals across three lines of business: co-development projects, full game funding (in 3rd-party IP), and tools sales. You will own the BD pipeline and focus on growing our network with AAA studios and publishers.
What You'll Do
-
Responsibilities include building relationships with studios and publishers/IP holders that drive revenue growth across our three business lines (co-dev, full-dev, and BespokeCI tools); regularly attending industry events in/around the SF Bay Area (Monthly-to-weekly) and conferences globally (Quarterly-to-Monthly); owning our business development pipeline from end-to-end; negotiating and managing contracts and agreements with clients, partners, and publishers; developing and presenting business proposals and other sales materials to potential clients; building and strengthening relationships with existing partners while continuously seeking out new potential partnerships; building and maintaining effective reporting on business development activities and progress; working directly with our leadership team (founders + directors) to develop our BD strategy; contributing meaningfully to growing and improving the positive culture at Gamebreaking.
