Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automobile, motorcycle, tricycle, and tyre markets.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Identify underserved markets, customer segments, territories, and distribution opportunities.
- Develop relationships with corporate organizations, fleet operators, logistics companies, transport companies, government institutions, and other potential bulk buyers.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging customer needs, competitor activities, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
Automobile & Tyre Sales:
- Drive sales of motorcycles, tricycles, tyres, spare parts, lubricants, and related automobile products.
- Develop and manage sales opportunities with fleet owners, transport operators, dealers, distributors, workshops, logistics companies, and corporate customers.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and business cases for prospective customers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value business opportunities in line with company policies.
Dealer & Channel Development:
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage new dealers and distributors.
- Expand the company's dealer and distribution network across assigned territories.
- Develop strong relationships with existing dealers and support them in achieving sales targets.
- Monitor dealer performance, stock movement, market coverage, and customer acquisition.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and alternative distribution channels.
Fleet & Institutional Business:
- Develop relationships with fleet owners and organizations requiring motorcycles, tricycles, tyres, and related products.
- Target logistics, delivery, transportation, ride-hailing, agricultural, construction, and other commercial sectors with fleet requirements.
- Develop customized business proposals based on customer fleet and operational requirements.
- Maintain a database of potential fleet and institutional customers and consistently convert leads into business.
Customer & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and strategic business partners.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate automobile and tyre solutions.
- Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with After-Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure seamless customer service and order fulfilment.
Sales Performance & Reporting:

Achieve agreed sales, revenue, profitability, and business development targets.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline development, market activities, and business opportunities.

Track conversion rates, customer acquisition, dealer performance, and territory growth.

Provide management with market intelligence and recommendations for improving sales performance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.

Professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development is an added advantage.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial roles.
- Proven experience in the automobile, automotive, motorcycle, tricycle, tyres, spare parts, or related mobility industry is strongly required.
- Demonstrated experience in tyre sales, automobile product sales, fleet business, dealer management, or automotive distribution.
- Experience developing and managing dealer/distributor networks is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of acquiring new customers and generating revenue.
- Experience dealing with fleet operators, transport companies, corporate organizations, dealers, distributors, and institutional customers will be an advantage.
