About the Role Join Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects as a Business Development Manager focusing on ANS Health & Public Service in the West region (SoCal). You’ll support strategic business development, client engagement, and major pursuit efforts across Southern California’s transportation and public infrastructure programs, collaborating with road, bridges & tunnel and local government leaders to position Accenture for significant opportunities. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers; serve as relationship lead for select strategic accounts; expand Accenture’s presence through strategic client engagement, market intelligence, early pursuit positioning, and coordinated capture planning.
- Develop and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline in Deltek CRM, track status and timing, and report on backlog forecasts and pursuit performance, aligning with revenue goals and staffing capacity.
- Lead or support go/no-go decisions, pursuit strategies, and pre-proposal intelligence gathering; coordinate outreach to clients and teaming partners.
- Facilitate teaming strategies with primes, subconsultants, and joint venture partners; identify strategic partners; manage partner relationships; prepare MOUs and subconsultant agreements.
- Develop capture plans with contacts, win themes, differentiators, and milestones; support full pursuit lifecycle with client presentations and marketing materials.
- Coordinate with Marketing on proposals, conferences, branding, and messaging; collaborate with technical teams on submissions; support interview preparation and rehearsals.
- Participate in industry organizations (WTS, CMAA, APWA, ACEC, AACE); attend conferences and networking events; coordinate client touchpoints and post-event summaries.
- Oversee coordination with lobbyists or external consultants as needed; track pursuit action items and coordinate internal/external networking events. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry
- Minimum 7 years’ program management or construction management experience
- Minimum 7 years’ experience supporting business development, capture management, marketing, and strategic pursuits Nice to Have
- Established network of public agency clients, industry partners, and teaming relationships within the AEC/PMCM industry
- Strong understanding of public-sector procurement and pursuit processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent pursuits in a deadline-driven environment

- Salary range: $160,000 - $250,000 per year
