About this role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Associate who would leverage their expertise to generate new sales prospects and contacts to help grow the partnership business across West & Central Africa, working alongside the Business Development Manager.

What you would be expected to do

Prospecting: Data mine and qualify suitable partners, provide summaries of their businesses and any required business information, with a focus on B2B sales.
Pipeline Management: Maintain an up-to-date database of qualified prospects and provide administrative assistance to the Business Development team.
Prospect Meetings: Regularly hold physical and virtual meetings with prospective clients for training, product demonstrations, and onboarding across the West & Central Africa region.
Partner Onboarding: Effectively work with cross-functional teams to handle client requests for smooth coordination and onboarding of partners.
Networking: Regularly network with industry professionals and associations to help establish the brand in the region.
Industry Updates: Stay abreast of industry trends, opportunities, and ongoing bids in the West & Central African region.
Proposals: Create effective client proposals and manage bid applications as required.

You might be a strong candidate if you

Hold a Bachelor's / HND degree from an accredited higher institution
Have a minimum of 3–4 years of post-NYSC work experience in a Business Development role
Are able to speak French, added advantage but not a must.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate excellent presentation skills
Possess data mining skills
Have strong people skills
Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
Possess planning and organizational skills
Be willing and able to travel as required.
