About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to identify, develop and consolidate opportunities in Telefónica Tech's Defense sector, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, cyberdefense and critical infrastructure. You will act as a strategic liaison between the organization and military, governmental, and national security entities to advance digital transformation while ensuring security and sovereignty priorities are met. What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of opportunities by building and maintaining commercial relationships with defense-related entities (Ministry of Defense, Armed Forces, CCN-CERT, and other public and private sector partners).
- Detect business opportunities in cyberdefense, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection and classified systems.
- Participate in tenders, public procurement processes, and accreditation procedures for solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design proposals aligned with national security requirements.
- Represent Telefónica Tech at defense and cybersecurity fairs, events, and specialized forums.
- Stay up to date with sector regulations, guidelines and standards (CCN-STIC, ENS, etc.).
- Qualify and manage sales opportunities through the entire process using Salesforce. What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development in the defense domain, with emphasis on cyberdefense, cybersecurity and critical infrastructures; deep knowledge of the Spanish defense ecosystem and classified systems.
- Strong familiarity with public administration tender processes and government procurement platforms.
- Desirable: experience with CCN-STIC guidelines and system accreditation processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications in sales, engineering or architecture related to infrastructure/cyberdefense/cybersecurity are valued.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity in critical infrastructures; experience in classified environments or defense/public safety projects is a plus.
- Languages: Spanish; English at a technical B2+ level.
- Personal attributes: initiative, proactive, collaborative, excellent communication skills, ability to work with multidisciplinary teams (commercial, technical, legal). Nice to Have
- Experience in classified environments or defense/public safety projects.
- Certifications in sales, engineering or architecture for infrastructure/cyberdefense/cybersecurity.
