Business Development and Grant Writing Specialist

ICCSI is seeking a highly motivated Business Development and Grant Writing Specialist to be based in Abuja, Nigeria. This full-time role focuses on driving business development initiatives, attracting and retaining new business and partnerships, and expanding the organization’s funding portfolio. The successful candidate will work across departments to push CCSI’s vision forward, develop strategic opportunities, and deliver measurable results that support growth and sustainability. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines are essential as you identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that boost revenue and differentiate CCSI in the donor ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage business development initiatives and grant writing activities to expand funding and partnerships for CCSI.
• Develop, execute, and oversee a resource mobilization and growth strategy that diversifies funding sources and prioritizes revenue growth.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships with multiple stakeholders and donors.
• Cultivate and maintain positive, professional relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to align initiatives with organizational goals and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Think strategically to connect the big picture with concrete objectives that improve funding streams and help reach new markets.
• Prioritize workload, take direction to meet deadlines, and actively seek opportunities to broaden CCSI’s funding and impact.
