Job title: Business Analyst - Insurance / Takaful
About the Role The role is responsible for processing and updating project activities, ensuring timely execution within established benchmarks. It supports decision making with data and proposes data-driven solutions aligned with Zurich's strategies.
What You'll Do
- Process initiations and servicing requests from customers for Takaful/Life.
- Present data to support decisions for solutions.
- Assist superior in participating product meetings.
- Assist superior in preparing system/business requirements.
- Perform system enhancements and prepare relevant documents for sign-off prior to, during and after UAT.
- Assist superior to monitor the results.
- Review processes and propose automation/improvement.
- Ensure all activities meet reasonable quality, performance and agreed timelines.
- Prepare and review relevant documents such as WI, regulatory guides, policy contracts.
- Support team members on day-to-day problem solving.
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments/projects from Management when required.
- Ensure all requirements of the Takaful Act 1984, Bank Negara Guidelines, MTA Guidelines, Departmental Benchmarks, Bank Negara Audit, Internal Audit and External Audit are complied with.
What We're Looking For
- Good communication skill verbal and written.
- Analytical skill.
- Proficient in Excel / Big Data concepts.
- Ability to produce high quality work under pressure with a positive attitude.
- Sound processing knowledge and product knowledge.
- PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in Life Insurance / Takaful is desirable.
- Inter-personal skills and ability to work with teams.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in Insurance Industry.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge in Life Insurance / Takaful (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
