Position Overview

This role supports the product management team across the full lifecycle of product development. This position requires a solid foundation in product management principles, intermediate analytical capabilities, and growing autonomy in managing product-related initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive product success.

What You’ll Do

• Define and refine product requirements and user stories with moderate independence.

• Conduct targeted market and customer research to inform feature prioritization.

• Analyze usage data and customer feedback to identify pain points and improvement areas.

• Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize product KPIs.

• Facilitate sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions with engineering and design.

• Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market planning and messaging alignment.

• Document release notes and product updates for internal and external stakeholders.

• What You’ll Bring to Zelis

• Bachelors degree and 2+ years business analyst experience

• At least 2 years working in healthcare (claims processing, corrected claims, clinical coding)

• Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and product management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Zelis is headquartered in the U.S., with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad, India. Check out our locations to learn more about our offices. All employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and are determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities vary based on work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

• While location expectations vary by role, candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible, and in-office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.
