Purpose: Detail-oriented and business-driven Business Analyst with a strong background in data discovery, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical reporting. Proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by translating complex requirements into actionable insights. Skilled in identifying data-driven opportunities, enhancing business processes, and enabling informed decision-making across organizational levels. Experienced in working with SMEs, data engineers, and stakeholders across diverse domains, with a solid foundation in data analytics, process optimization, and modern reporting tools. Adept at managing end-to-end analysis workflows in Agile and hybrid environments, with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and delivery impact.
Accountabilities
Data Discovery
- Identify and document data sources, flows, and gaps relevant to business initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to understand infrastructure, schemas, and data lineage.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to uncover analytical needs and use cases.
SME Collaboration
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across business lines to gather functional requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ensure shared understanding and alignment of goals.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive insights and support decision-making.
- Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc reports to track KPIs and business performance.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity across systems and reports.
Process Improvement
- Assess current-state business processes and recommend improvements leveraging data insights.
- Support the development of automated reporting workflows and streamlined intake models.
