Bus/Coach Technician

About the Role This is a full-time, on-site technician role supporting a mining contract for Prevost/AB Volvo. You will diagnose and repair coaches and their systems at the customer site in Nevada, residing on-site during 14-days on/14-days off rotations. The role requires strong collaboration, adherence to safety and quality standards, and thorough documentation of work. What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair coaches and their systems
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Respect and care for the customer and their equipment
• Comply with quality and safety standards
• Properly document the work completed and fill out forms as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on a continuous basis
• Live on-site during scheduled shifts and support a 14-on/14-off rotation (12-hour days; 84 hours/week; overtime after 40 hours)
• Manage on-site housing/meal logistics as provided by the customer during shifts What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED required
• 4 years of qualified mechanical experience or technical school graduate
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to look up parts efficiently and independently
• Work closely and professionally with coworkers
• Assist customers with technical issues and/or questions
• Proficient in electronic media and laptop use
• Comfortable with remote and austere work conditions
• Willingness to reside on-site during shifts and work a long-rotation schedule Compensation & Benefits
• Housing and food provided by the customer while on shift
• Taxable monthly allowance for other costs: $750 per month
• Night shift premium for night shifts
• No regular earned time off (ETO) while on shift; ETO available for emergencies, illness, or other protected time off
• Project expected to be active for several years, with no guaranteed continuation; potential for reassignment upon project changes
• There is no guaranteed return to your present branch; business conditions can change Additional Notes

• This role involves working at a customer site with on-site housing during shifts and a remote discovery of food, housing, and transportation off-shift
