Job title: Bus Driver (Part-time)
About the Role Williams Baptist University is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to help ensure the health, safety, and welfare of those transported to and from the campus. The role includes inspecting the bus interior and exterior and ensuring it is clean and in proper working order for scheduled trips. The successful candidate will be able to drive coach buses with air brakes and a P endorsement, during the day and night, and must maintain a clean driving record and up-to-date health card while interacting with students, coaches and staff.
What You'll Do
- Drive coach buses with air brakes and P endorsement during day and night.
- Inspect the bus interior and exterior for cleanliness and proper working order before scheduled trips.
- Maintain a clean driving record and up-to-date health card; comply with drug and alcohol screening requirements.
- Interact with students, coaches and staff in a professional and supportive manner.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma and driver training.
- Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brake endorsement and P endorsement.
- Clean driving record and up-to-date health card.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol blood test.
- Active follower of Jesus Christ and committed to the college’s spiritual and academic mission.
- Experience interacting with students, coaches and staff.
