About the Role Saipem is seeking a Buildings Engineer for the Mozambique LNG project in Afungi. You will perform technical design, verification and studies related to buildings and associated civil works, coordinating with project specialists and designers to deliver safe, cost-efficient engineering aligned with the project schedule. What You'll Do
- Perform technical tasks related to design, verification or studies assigned by the Project Specialist Leader, and interface with project specialists and designers.
- Coordinate technical activities inside/outside the company to ensure sound engineering and design optimization in terms of cost, fabrication simplicity and safety.
- Support development, feasibility and bidding phases with technical input, tender document reviews, activity deliverables definitions, query handling, and cost estimation support (engineering manhours and materials).
- Review Client's technical documentation; maintain project technical files; manage subcontracted architectural/engineering documents; execute assigned engineering activities (detail design, verification, studies) for buildings.
- Prepare design specifications for architectural works for buildings and civil works; develop functional layouts; prepare material specifications and architectural design for buildings; support TM/PSL in client interface; prepare MTOs and BOQs. What We're Looking For
- Experience in design, verification, or studies related to buildings and architectural/civil works.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary activities and interfaces; collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and maintaining technical files; preparing design specifications, MTOs and BOQs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Compensation & Benefits
