About the Role Builds Electrical Engineer for the Mozambique LNG project, based in Afungi, Mozambique. You will perform technical tasks related to design, verification or studies, interface with Project Specialists and Designers, and coordinate technical activities to support sound engineering, cost optimization and safety. What You'll Do
- Provide technical support for development technology know-how and commercial activities.
- Provide technical support during feasibility studies.
- During bidding phase/Commercial proposal development: review/clarification/qualifications of tender technical documents; define list of activities and deliverables; coordinate activities according to project schedule; identify technical queries, deviations and alternatives; implement bidding methodologies, design criteria and guidelines; assist proposal team with RFQ; coordinate material quantities estimation; assist PSL in preparing engineering manhours and items and material costs estimations; discuss with client and attend clarification meetings.
- During Project Execution (job progress and completion): review Client's technical documentation and requirements; maintain project technical files; control subcontracted architectural engineering documents inside or outside SAIPEM group; set up and execute assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies; prepare design specifications for architectural works; cooperate in preparing design specifications for civil works relevant to buildings; develop functional layout of buildings; prepare material specs and architectural design for buildings; support TM/PSL in technical interface with Client; prepare MTOs and BOQs. What We're Looking For
- Experience in buildings electrical engineering within energy/infrastructure projects; ability to coordinate technical activities and interface with Client and internal teams; manage technical documentation and subcontracted documents.
- Knowledge of preparing design specifications, material specifications, MTOs and BOQs; ability to develop functional layouts and architectural models for buildings; ability to work across feasibility, bidding and project execution phases.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interface with Client and multidisciplinary teams. Compensation & Benefits
