About the Role Build Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineering (AI Capability Center) at Huron focuses on delivering AI-enabled solutions. This role builds the solution day-to-day within a pod, collaborating with business partners, and translating design into working features under the guidance of the Solution Architect and Engagement Manager.

What You'll Do

• Build features end-to-end as a full-stack engineer on AWS and Azure using Claude and other models.
• Work with users by sitting with the business day-to-day and building with them.
• Maintain quality through tests and evaluations on everything that ships.
• Take design direction from the Solution Architect, and flag gaps or misses in the design.
• Collaborate within a pod to deliver and iterate on solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 5 years building software or AI.
• Proficiency in Python, and AWS or Azure.
• A strong builder who is comfortable working with the business.
• Healthcare seats are onshore; the EDR and other seats are in India.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• Some RAG and agent experience, plus exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling (agentic coding tools, eval-driven pipelines).
• Meets the FDE-ready floor (Embedding L3 with AI L3) at day 0.
• AWS AI Practitioner or Azure AI-900 / AI-102 certifications.
• Front-end skills.
• Healthcare or higher education exposure.

Compensation & Benefits

• The estimated base salary for this job is $120,000 - $145,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting.
• The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors.
• This job is eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay-for-performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range is $134,400 - $171,100 USD.
