BU Representative (Pharmaceutical)

About the Role A strategic leadership role at Amgen responsible for planning, promoting, and managing the District/Business Unit in collaboration with marketing and commerce teams. The position focuses on building relationships with key customers, ensuring correct prescription of Amgen products, and driving business objectives while aligning with company values. What You'll Do

• Develop, implement and monitor the District Business plan with the team and marketing colleagues.
• Manage accounts and brands, build credibility with key customers and influence prescribing behavior.
• Participate in or develop professional promotional activities and establish interactive mechanisms.
• Ensure product supply channels in collaboration with Commerce colleagues.
• Understand company strategy, set objectives and promotion tasks, motivate the team to achieve objectives.
• Build cooperative team spirit and align with company culture.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring & training; manage performance, professional development and hiring.
• Set up and monitor budgets in line with company policy; ensure efficient resource use.
• Ensure compliance of team members' business activities.
• Develop personal leadership and continuous self-improvement and demonstrate commitment to company values. What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of working experience in pharma, with at least 2 years in BU management of major or joint venture Pharma.
• University degree or above; related fields preferred (medicine, pharmacy, marketing, commerce); cardiovascular experience preferred.
• Strong product knowledge and industry/disease area knowledge; customer management and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams; strong budgeting and financial oversight.
• Proven ability to build relationships with key customers and influence prescribing.
• Demonstrated leadership, goal orientation, feedback and coaching skills; ability to inspire and influence. Nice to Have
