About the Role

Pearson is seeking a BTEC Trainer for Art & Design who can deliver online and face-to-face courses in the UK and internationally in Arabic. This freelance/contract role involves travel and requires staying up-to-date with Pearson BTEC International Specifications and content standards while collaborating with internal teams to continually improve professional development offerings.

What You'll Do

• Deliver online and in-person BTEC Art & Design training in the UK and internationally as required
• Stay up-to-date with changes in the education sector and in Pearson BTEC International Specifications
• Collaborate with internal support teams to enhance professional development courses
• Conduct pre-event preparation: attend in-house briefings, client meetings, and skill-building training; complete Pearson Global Content Standards Training
• Deliver training sessions aligned with customer and Pearson guidelines; use Ed Tech confidently; manage time and travel logistics (travel expenses covered by Pearson)
• Address customer queries professionally and provide clear, engaging instruction
• Complete summary feedback forms for every session; ensure delegate feedback meets expected standards
• Communicate and deliver training in English; language skills in Arabic preferred; other languages (Spanish, Mandarin) beneficial

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching Pearson BTEC International Specifications
• Experience delivering effective training to adult delegates
• Strong understanding of qualification and assessment principles
• High level subject knowledge and ability to deliver complex content
• Proficient in teaching, administration, assessment, or management in the relevant subject/level
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
• Comfortable using laptops, internet, Microsoft PowerPoint, and technology to support training delivery
• Ability to manage the learning and development of diverse teaching professionals and welcome feedback
• Commitment to own professional development and to representing Pearson professionally
• Willingness to deliver using Pearson-provided materials and to maintain Pearson quality standards
• Ability to deliver training sessions in English; verbal and written English required; Arabic ability beneficial

Nice to Have

• Ability to deliver training in other languages (Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic) is beneficial
