About the Role Be part of ZF's FutureStarter program as a B.Sc. Informatik (m/w/d) in R&D Simulation in Hannover. The dual study program combines theory (FHDW Hannover) and practical phases at ZF's site, with focus areas in Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) and Real-Time Models (RTM), test systems for automotive products, and virtual homologation of vehicle systems. The 3.5-year program alternates theory and practice in 12-week blocks, and includes participation in cross-site Sports & More activities. What You'll Do
- Develop complex mathematical models of vehicle systems and describe them scientifically
- Validate models to requirements of Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt and TÜV
- Learn and apply state-of-the-art programming techniques
- Conduct or support test drives on our in-house test track and accompany measurements
- Work in an autonomous team dedicated to health promotion (Sports & More) and organize stand-out sport events What We're Looking For
- General higher education entrance qualification or Fachhochschulreife
- Strong communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
- Interest in vehicle technology and complex technical systems
- Good numerical understanding and interest in mathematics and computer science
- Willingness to engage, curiosity and willingness to take responsibility
