- Our client requires the services of result-oriented, diligent and honest individuals to grow with its team as a Broadcast Engineer.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot broadcast equipment and systems.
- Ensure the reliable operation of studio, transmission, audio, video and other broadcast equipment.
- Liaise with relevant vendors and service providers on equipment repairs, servicing and technical support.
- Ensure compliance with applicable technical, electrical and broadcast safety standards.
- Provide technical support during live broadcasts, programmes and special productions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks on broadcast equipment.
- Monitor broadcast systems to minimise downtime and ensure uninterrupted transmission.
Major Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any other related field.
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in Engineering role.
- Knowledge of modern broadcast equipment and systems is an added advantage.
- Strong ICT and electronics/electrical skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Goal-driven, result-oriented and innovative.
