About the Role
Sonder is seeking a Breakfast Attendant for new openings to ensure a welcoming and efficient breakfast experience for guests. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining the buffet, serving beverages, and assisting guests across multiple local properties as needed.
What You'll Do
- Set up the breakfast buffet before service and clear it after service
- Ensure buffet remains well stocked and clean at all times
- Receive and prepare beverage orders and serve to guests
- Answer questions and handle guest complaints
- Clean and disinfect tables and counters after each service
- Travel to multiple Sonder properties in the local market as needed
What We're Looking For
- Positive and customer-focused attitude
- First experience in hospitality, preferably in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HACCP guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented
- Comfortable in a changing environment with strong prioritization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Problem-solving ability and willingness to ask for help when needed
- Comfortable using company mobile apps for collaboration and team communication
- Weekend availability
- Ability to lift/move objects and stand or walk for long periods
- Prior experience in hospitality, service and/or customer experience
