About this role
Circo Brand Storyteller
-
About The Role
-
As Brand Storyteller, you will bring Circo’s stories to life through engaging photography and video.
-
You will capture real moments, direct shoots, and create visual content that makes our creators, communities, and product feel compelling, human, and culturally relevant across digital platforms.
-
This is a hands-on, mid-level creative role with ownership of production from concept to final edit.
-
Working with Content Marketing and Growth, you will turn briefs into creator profiles, interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, product explainers, launch assets, and social-first videos.
-
The right person has a strong eye, practical production skills, and the ability to find a good story in an everyday moment.
-
What You Will Own
-
Photo and video production from concept, scripting, and storyboarding through shoot planning, capture, editing, and final delivery.
-
Authentic stories featuring creators, communities, team members, and the moments that express Circo’s purpose and personality.
-
Shoot direction: preparing shot lists, guiding subjects, coordinating locations and contributors, and managing practical production requirements.
-
Photography and videography using DSLR or mirrorless cameras and mobile equipment where appropriate, with effective lighting and clean audio.
-
Post-production, including editing, colour correction, sound treatment, captions, basic motion graphics, and image retouching.
-
Platform-specific assets for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Circo’s website, and paid campaigns, adapted for format, pacing, and audience behaviour.
-
Product demonstrations and explainers that make Circo’s features and creator value easy to understand.
-
Consistent visual quality and brand expression in collaboration with Content Marketing and creative leadership.
-
An organised asset library, including source files, final exports, relevant permissions, and reusable footage.
-
Content improvement through performance feedback, testing hooks and formats, and applying learning to future shoots and edits.
-
What We Are Looking For
-
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in visual storytelling, videography, photography, multimedia production, or a related creative role.
-
A strong portfolio demonstrating both photo and video work, including social-first storytelling and examples you produced from concept to delivery.
-
A sharp eye for composition, detail, pacing, and brand aesthetics, with the ability to capture natural, unscripted moments.
-
Experience planning and directing shoots, interviewing subjects, and helping people feel comfortable on camera.
-
Practical proficiency with cameras, lighting, microphones, and production equipment.
-
Proficiency in video and photo editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent software; basic motion design is an advantage.
-
Understanding of platform-specific formats, hooks, captions, and storytelling approaches for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
